Our Digital Cinematographer as he would rather be called, Willem Viljoen is one of the best in his industry. The meticulous effort he put into every shot and setting up the shot can drive the lay man into an absolute frenzy yet the work that is produced as a result will have the learned eye gasping in admiration.
Willem started in the industry 25 years ago when he joined the SABC and completed the course in Television Technology. After which he worked at Toron until 1988 when he went freelance.
Over the years Willem has won numerous awards including South Africa's premier awards - The Loeries for cinematography/lighting for the BMW X5 launches, Mercedes C-Class launch and many others in the industry.
A pleasant person and an excellent DOP – excuse me Digital Cinematographer, Willem was instrumental in producing an end result of such superb quality.
